This Privacy Policy explains how Mighty Template (“Mighty Template,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit mightytemplate.com or use our products and services (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1) Information we collect

a) Information you provide

  • Account & authentication data (e.g., email address and a hashed password) when you create an account or sign in via our authentication provider.

  • Order & entitlement data (e.g., product purchased, license/activation key, email, billing country/region). We do not receive full payment card numbers; payments are handled by our merchant-of-record/payment processor.

  • Support communications (e.g., emails you send us and any attachments).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation) and the Services are not directed to children under 13.

b) Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

  • Log and usage data (e.g., IP address, pages viewed, time stamps, referring URLs, error logs).

  • Device data (e.g., browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language, and network).

  • Approximate location derived from IP address.

We also use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, and analytics. See Cookies & Tracking below.

c) Information from other sources

Where permitted by law, we may receive limited information from publicly available sources or partners (for example, to prevent fraud or to measure usage).

2) How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage accounts and authenticate users.

  • Process orders, deliver digital downloads, manage licenses/activation keys, and provide customer support.

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including analytics and performance monitoring.

  • Communicate administrative messages (e.g., policy updates, purchase confirmations).

  • Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, abuse, and fraud.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We may use information for other purposes with your consent where required.

3) Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Services secure, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used.
Where required by law, we display a consent banner for non-essential cookies and provide Cookie Settings to adjust your choices at any time.

We currently use cookies only for functional/required purposes and analytics. If we later enable advertising/remarketing technologies, we will update this Policy and present appropriate consent and opt-out options.

4) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Hosting & infrastructure providers

  • Authentication & account management providers

  • Payment processors/merchant-of-record

  • Analytics providers

  • Email/support service providers

  • Video hosting/embedding platforms

  • Consent & preference management tools

  • Fraud, security, and anti-abuse tools

  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law

We may also share information in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), and we may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Third-party sites and services that you access from our Services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5) Sale/Share for targeted advertising

  • We do not “sell” personal information or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.

  • If we later enable advertising pixels or remarketing, we will (1) update this Policy, (2) display a “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share” link, and (3) honor opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).

6) Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it. If deletion is not feasible (for example, in backup archives), we will securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.

7) Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and port your data, as well as to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

  • Marketing & cookies: You can opt out of non-essential cookies via Cookie Settings (where available) and unsubscribe from non-essential emails via the link in the message.

  • Requests: Email privacy@mightytemplate.com with your request. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding.

9) Region-specific disclosures

a) European Economic Area (EEA) & UK

Mighty Template is the controller for personal information processed via the Services. We process personal information under these legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., to secure and improve the Services), consent where required, legal obligations, and vital interests.
If data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

b) United States privacy laws (e.g., CA, VA, CO, CT, UT)

In the last 12 months we collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (e.g., email, IP), commercial information (orders/entitlements), internet or electronic activity (usage logs), approximate geolocation (from IP), and inferences (not created). We disclosed these categories for business purposes to the service-provider categories listed in How we share information. We did not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising and did not process sensitive personal information.
California residents may exercise rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of sale/share (not applicable currently), and to non-discrimination. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for sale/share opt-outs if such features are introduced in the future. Submit requests to privacy@mightytemplate.com.

10) Children

The Services are intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@mightytemplate.com and we will take appropriate steps.

11) International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from your jurisdiction. We use appropriate safeguards for such transfers as described above.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The Effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on the Site and, where required, notified to you.
